The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price, requirements, base plus four option year contract for a commercially available, off the shelf (COTS), Service & Mainteance Agreement (S&MA) for the Nurse Call Systems at IHS Healthcare Facilities throughout the Great Plains Area in Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Period of Performance for the Base plus Four Option Year Contract is:
Base: January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025
OY #1: January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026
OY #2: January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2027
OY #3: January 1, 2028 to December 31, 2028
OY #4: January 1, 2029 to December 31, 2029
The estimated value is below the simplified acquisition threshold.
The sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supply or service will satisfy agency requirements and is based on market research.
Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission of the agency.
The determination not to complete the proposed action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
Information received normally will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred for responding to this notice.
