THE VILLAGE OF BENSENVILLE, DuPAGE COUNTY, ILLINOIS, will receive sealed
bids for the FENTON COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL FENCE PROJECT (SECTION 26-
00109-00-IC) until Eleven A.M. (11:00 A.M.) (prevailing time), August 18, 2026 at
the office of the Municipal Clerk in the Village Hall, 12 South Center Street, in the
Village of Bensenville, Illinois, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened
and read aloud.
The contract documents, including plans and specifications are on file at the
office of the Owner, Village of Bensenville – Department of Public Works, 717 E

with a copy of the Contractor's current "Certificate of Eligibility" issued by the
Illinois Department of Transportation. Contractor documents will be provided as a
PDF at no charge to eligible prospective bidders.
A bid bond, certified check, bank draft or irrevocable letter of credit on a solvent bank,
payable to the Village of Bensenville, or cash in an amount of not less than five percent
(5%) of the amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the
amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the
faithful performance of the Contract and also a Payment Bond in the amount equal to
one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as a security for the payment of all
persons performing labor on the Project under the Contract and furnishing materials in
connection of the Contract. The successful bidder shall also furnish a Certificate of
Insurance. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening of bids without the consent of said
Municipality for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of opening bids.
The Village of Bensenville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any
informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it, all in
accordance with the standard specifications
