Background
Emergency patch work was done to the runway at the Santa Fe Regional Airport on 8.5.26. This patch posed as a safety risk to incoming flights and required the Airport to close the runway until repairs were completed. Staff at the airport spoke to Travis Dutton-Leyda who approved this work to be done and submitted as an emergency within 72 hours.
