Project Description: The City of Norwich is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firms to provide comprehensive design services for the full renovation and upgrade of the existing Fontaine Field and the development of two (2) walkways connecting the athletic field with the senior center. The scope of work includes site survey, design, permitting, and construction administration services.
The primary objective is to convert the existing natural grass field into a synthetic turf playing surface for a variety of sports. Site work to include all appropriate grading, drainage, utility, landscaping and lighting improvements. Firms are encouraged to exercise creative freedom in proposing design features that will enhance the functionality and appeal of the upgraded athletic facility.
