Sealed Bids for the construction of the Patton Parkway Water Main Project will be received by the Marina Coast Water District (herein after referred to as MCWD), at 920 Second Avenue, Suite A, Marina, CA 93933, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of installing 3,230-LF of C900 PVC water main, 3,360-LF of 8-inch C900 PVC recycled water main and a pressure-reducing and metering station with pre-cast concrete vault and the associated fittings, valves and appurtenances.

This Addendum forms a part of the Bidding Documents and will be incorporated into Contract
Documents. Insofar as the Specifications or Drawings or both are inconsistent, this Addendum
governs. Acknowledge receipt of the Addendum by inserting its number in Document 00 41 00 -
Bid Form. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL SUBJECT BID TO DISQUALIFICATION.
PART 1 - BIDDER INFORMATION ITEMS
1. The sign-in sheet from the non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is attached.
PART 2 - CHANGES TO PROJECT MANUAL
1. None.
PART 3 - CHANGES TO DRAWINGS
1. Detail W-12 on Sheet C2.3 is revised to add a Note 5 "Match existing pavement section,
minimum 4-inches AC over 8-inches Class 2 AB."
PART 4 - QUESTIONS RECEIVED
Q1 When is the high school summer break?
A1 MPUSD Schools are out from June 7, 2026, to August 5, 2026.
Q2 Can the District verify the pavement thickness for the trench repair?
A2 The City's encroachment permit requires a minimum of 4-inch AC over 8-inches AB. Use
that section for bidding.
Q3 What is the Engineer's Estimate for the Project?
A3 The Engineer's Estimate is $4,059,400.
Q5 When do you anticipate issuing NTP?
A5 The contract will be awarded at the May 18th Board of Director's meeting and Notice to
Proceed will be issued as soon as bonds and insurance are provided.
