10(TM) STREET RECONSTRUCTION
FROM LAPEER AVE TO THE BLACK RIVER

PROJECT NO. C26-0020

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Port Huron, Michigan, by mail or in person in the office of
the City Clerk, 1' Floor, 100 McMorran Boulevard, Port Huron, Michigan 48060 until 3:00 p.m. on
April 28, 2026, and immediately thereafter the bids will be publicly opened and read in the Room 101
of the aforesaid Municipal Office Center.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Work consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment required for the 10'" Street
Reconstruction from Lapeer Ave to the Black River as shown on the Drawings or specified in the Project
Manual.

Bidding documents including drawings and project manual contract documents, including instruction to
bidders form, agreement and specifications may be examined and shall be obtained from the Michigan
Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) website by BidNet Connect, Located at
https://www.bidnetdirect.com/mitn beginning on April 7, 2026. All Bidders shall obtain a complete set
of bid documents, including all posted addenda, from the City of Port Huron via MITN.

A certified check payable to the City of Port Huron, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder
and a surety company, in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each
bid. No bid may be withdrawn for at least ninety (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving
bids. All bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the City of Port Huron for that purpose.

The City of Port Huron reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or irregularities
in the bid, and to accept any bid which is deemed most advantageous to the said City's interests. The
successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and materials bonds,
maintenance and guarantee bonds, and insurance certificates.

All bidders are required to qualify according to the bidder qualification regulations for contractors
bidding on City of Port Huron contracts as set forth in the instruction to bidders. Contractor must comply
with the City of Port Huron Uniform City Income Tax Ordinance. For questions regarding this project,
