NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The West Chester Area School District, Chester County, Pennsylvania, solicits sealed bids for
the following contracts:
RFP No. 26-002 District-wide Elevator & Wheelchair Lifts
Inspection, Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services
Sealed bids for West Chester Area School District, 2026-27 District-wide Elevator & Wheelchair
Lifts Inspection, Maintenance and Emergency Repair Services within the West Chester Area
School District, Chester County, Pennsylvania, will be received online via the PennBid Program
(www.pennbid.net ) by West Chester School District until 12:00 PM prevailing time on Tuesday,
May 5, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened via PennBid and read aloud at the
Facilities and Operations Center Building, 1181 McDermott Dr, West Chester, PA 19380.
All bids must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit. The winning bidder shall agree to
guarantee the bid price(s) for a period of twelve (12) months starting July 1, 2026. Winning
bidders may extend the bid price guarantee by written permission to the District.
All Bidding documents are available online at no cost at PennBid (www.pennbid.net) and will
become available starting Wednesday, April 8, 2026, after 2:00 PM via PennBid.
All questions will be received through the PennBid solicitation until Friday, April 24, 2026, at
12:00 Noon.
The School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, and to make or not make
awards in the best interest of the West Chester Area School District.
