REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
GC/CM SERVICES — MUNICIPAL CAMPUS RELOCATION PROJECT
The City of Kent (“City”) invites General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) firms to submit proposals for pre-construction and construction services for its two-facility Municipal Campus Relocation Project (approx. 155,000 SF total) using the procedures permitted under RCW 39.10. The project will aim to renovate the below facilities for other City uses:
Estimated MACC: $38,434,845. Delivery will follow RCW 39.10 GC/CM procedures.
The GC/CM shall provide high-quality services including scheduling, phasing logistics, collaboration with the design consultants, direct construction best-practices, support constructability analysis, provide assistance in the selection of materials and building systems, and solicit/manage subcontractor bid packages and supplier bidding. The GC/CM shall provide high-quality construction services to safely deliver a superior project that comprises the full scope of program.
