City of Blue Mound, Linn Co., Kansas (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

84,000 GALLON STANDPIPE PROJECT

MEG PN: 2025-BlueMound-02-001

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at Blue Mound City Hall located at 403 E Main Street, Blue Mound, Kansas 66010, until Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026, at 11:00 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Project will generally include the following: constructing an 84,000 gallon standpipe that shall be completed in general concordance with the construction plans, specifications and industry standards.

Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows:

The Project has an expected duration of 240 days to substantial completion and 270 days to final completion.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is:

Copies of plans and specifications can be seen or purchased for a Non-Refundable fee on-line at www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution plan room, additional assistance is available at distribution@drexeltech.com . Information regarding this project can be found in the “Public Jobs” link on the website. Contractors desiring the Contract Documents for use in preparing bids may also obtain a set of such documents from Drexel Technologies; 10840 West 86th Street, Lenexa, KS 66214, telephone number is 913-371-4430. Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.

Prospective Bidders must register with the Issuing Office as a plan holder. The project information in the eDistribution plan room will be updated periodically with addendas, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the project. All official notifications, addendas, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the eDistribution plan room. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

No pre-bid conference will be held.
