C MORE HALE EXHAUST FANS - REPLACE VFD, STARTER, AND ISOLATION DAMPERS

Project Description: Provide all labor necessary to replace the motor starters, isolation dampers, and damper actuators for EF #1, #2, & #3. Also, replace the VFD for RAF #3 and the starter for EF #4. The proposed work shall generally include, but not limited to replacing exhaust fan dampers, damper actuators, motor starters, VFD, and the exhaust plenum access door. Refer to the mechanical section for detailed description of work. All work is located at C More Hale, University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Provide all tools, materials, equipment, and insurance necessary to replace the motor starters, isolation dampers, and damper actuators for EF #1, #2, & #3. Special Instructions

All interested bidders are requested to attend a mandatory site walk through. A site walk through is scheduled for 9:00 January 27, 2026. Contractors shall meet at the Biomed Bldg contractors loading zone, on the mauka side of the building. Contract documents will be distributed at the site walk through. Contractors interested in bidding for this work must contact Alton Fujimoto through email, altonf@hawaii.edu, or phone at 808 864-4161 to confirm attendance by 4:00 pm January 26,2026. Contractors that do not attend a mandatory site walk through, will not be allowed to bid on this work.
