CREC is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for the construction of two (2) long jump runways and landing pits, along with the installation of two (2) discus cages and related components. The work will be performed as a standalone athletic facility improvement and will meet all applicable NFHS specifications and manufacturer standards. The project will take place at the Academy of International Studies Middle High located at 1551 Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield CT and Academy of Science and Innovation at 600 Slater Road, New Britain, CT. Installation for both projects shall commence in Spring 2026, weather permitting. Interested vendors are instructed to visit www.crec.org/rfp to log into our bid site to access the solicitation.
