PROJECT BID NO. CIP 2025-005
The City of Stone Mountain is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for VFW PARK ¿ GORDON STREET. Sealed bids will be received by the City of Stone Mountain at the Stone Mountain City Hall, 875 Main Street, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083, until 2:00 p.m. local time on
Thursday, February 26, 2026. The bids will be opened by staff and the results will be posted later that day via email to the bid submitters. Any bid received after 2:00 p.m. will not be accepted. Bid envelopes must be marked on the outside with Bid Number, Name of Bidder, date and time of opening and Contractor¿s License Number. Failure to display Contractor¿s License Number may result in the bid being returned. A MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY FEBRUARY 16, 2026 AT 11:00 AM LOCAL TIME.
Attention is called to the fact that this project is being funded ultimately through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The bidder is asked to pay special attention to the Federal Regulations included in the bid package. These regulations include The Davis-Bacon Act, Section 3, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, the Copeland (Anti-Kickback Act), and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Work required under the contract will include grading & drainage, 30¿x80¿ pavilion, parking, split rail fencing, mulch trail, natural play area with play structure, site benches & trash cans, wayfinding signage, complete.
