Commodity or Service Required: Purchase of Library Materials Recovery Services Description: Lee County Library seeks to execute a sole-source procurement for the collection of patron fines and fees and the recovery of lost library materials by Unique Management Services, Inc. This service is integrated with the Library System’s current Polaris software and is used to automate the collection of library patron overdue fines and fees, and the recovery of lost library materials. Intended Sole Source: Unique Management Services, Inc. Justification for Sole Source Acquisition: Unique Management Services, Inc. is the sole collection management vendor to work with our library system’s software, Polaris. The Unique Management Services process has been carefully designed to meet the unique needs of the Lee County Library System by effectively working to recover lost assets. There are no other vendors that work directly with our library’s software. Recommended Procurement Approach: For the reasons stated above, Lee County Procurement Management intends to utilize the Sole Source Procurement method to purchase the above services from Unique Management Services, Inc.
