Description


Sealed Bids: The Jones County Board of Commissioners will accept sealed bids for the
construction of the project entitled Union Hill Church Road Bridge Replacement until, 3:30
p.m., December 3, 2024, at the Jones County Commission Office, 166 Industrial Blvd., Gray, GA
31032, ATTN: Mrs. Leslie Faulk or Mr. Jason Rizner Gray, Georgia 31032 at which time and place all
Bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids will be opened in the Commission Chambers. No bid
may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) calendar days.
Contractor License: Any Contractor submitting a bid must be licensed by a pre-qualified Georgia
Department of Transportation Contractor and must be fully insured and bonded. License numbers
must be written on the face of the bid envelope. No bid will be opened unless it contains the
Contractor's license number. See Instructions to Bidders for additional bidding requirements.
Work to Be Done: The work to be done shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and
equipment necessary to construct the project titled Union Hill Church Road Bridge Replacement.
In general, construction consists of removal of one (1) existing bridge and construction of one (1)
new, pre-stressed bridge and all other associated appurtenances necessary for a complete and
operational project.
Plans and Contract Documents: Plans and Contract Documents are on file for review only at the
Jones County Commissioners Office and the local Dodge Room. Copies for bidding purposes can
be obtained from Ingram & Associates, L.L.C., 332 New Street, Macon Georgia 31201, Phone:
(478) 745-3996, Fax: (478) 742-4690, upon payment of $100.00 for each set (non-refundable).
