Architectural Design Services - Copper Hills & Riverton High Schools Building Additions

Project Description: Jordan School District (JSD) is seeking statements of qualifications (SOQ) from firms engaged in providing architectural services in the state of Utah. The JSD Board of Education has authorized to procure design services and renovation plans for an addition and potential remodel to two (2) high schools located in West Jordan and Riverton, Utah. Both locations are of similar design and were constructed approximately 3 years apart.
Both Copper Hills and Riverton high schools are in need of a building addition outlined below:
Criteria
- Provide design services for a 3,000 square foot addition to accommodate the wrestling program at two (2) separate but similar facilities.
- Project will include electrical scope
- Project will include mechanical scope
- Project will include structural scope
- Project may include civil and landscape scope
- Project may include remodel and/or installation of a dance floor within an existing space at one or both of the facilities
Timeline
- Design and bidding timeline October 2026 to February 2027
- Construction timeline March 2027 to August 2027
The construction budget for this project is $2.8 million.
