State Lobbying Services

The County has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with the sole purpose and intent of obtaining Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from interested and qualified firms or individuals (Consultants) offering to provide State Lobbying Services , in accordance with the specifications stated herein.

Walton County seeks to retain professional state lobbying services to represent the interests of the Board of County Commissioners and the Tourist Development Council before the Florida Legislature, state agencies, the Governor’s Office, and the Cabinet. The selected firm will work to advance the County’s legislative priorities, secure state funding for identified projects and programs, and monitor proposed legislation or agency actions that may impact the County. This engagement requires a firm with established relationships in Tallahassee, demonstrated experience representing Florida counties, and a proven ability to advocate effectively on issues ranging from infrastructure and environmental policy to economic development and tourism.
