Project Description: Plumstead Township, with offices located at 5186 Stump Road, Pipersville, PA 18947 will receive sealed bids online for the Old Easton Road and Route 611 Sidewalk.
Questions will be accepted on Pennbid™ until 10:00 A.M. local time, Friday, January 24, 2025. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until 10:00 A.M. local time, Friday, January 31, 2025. The bids shall be opened and made available for viewing on PennBid™ at 10:00 A.M. local time, Friday, January 31, 2025.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% each of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Contractor’s Release of Liens.
The right is reserved to waive any immaterial defect or informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. Quantities are not guaranteed and may vary (+/-).
The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442)
A Prebid meeting will not be held for this project.
