Regional Implementer for New England Heat Pump Accelerator (“Accelerator”)
The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select a Regional Implementer to lead and oversee implementation of the New England Heat Pump Accelerator (Accelerator) program. The Accelerator is a new program to increase adoption of residential cold-climate air-source heat pumps (ASHPs), heat pump water heaters (HPWHs), and ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) across Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. The purpose of the Accelerator is the creation of a single, regional initiative intended to “rapidly accelerate adoption of cold-climate air-source heat pumps (ASHPs), heat pump water heaters (HPWHs), and ground source heat pumps (GSHPs) in single-family and multifamily residential buildings in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
