The HP Aruba system provides remote access for OCPW users into the OCPW network. It ensures seamless Wi-Fi and/or remote access at multiple OCPW locations and is crucial for communication between pump stations, 7 Oaks, and the OCPW network to the data center.
End users include OCPW personnel who need remote access into the OCPW network, especially those at the following locations: 7 Oaks, Cypress, Southpark, Hunting Beach, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Villa Park, Seal Beach, All of Fruit Street, Capo, Haster, South trans, all of Glassell, CUF, and CCG.
This is an ongoing expense. The system has been in place for over eight years, and this request pertains to the yearly renewal for the product.
Without the HP Aruba system's connection, key sites like all pump stations and 7 Oaks will not be able to communicate back to the data center. This would severely impede their operations and the broader communication within the OCPW network.
