#8259 Advanced Technology and Health Sciences (ATHS) Center Patio Project Re-Bid

Project Description: Pennsylvania College of Technology is seeking bids for: A single prime contractor to renovate the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences (ATHS) Center patio area. The project will require removal of: the existing fountain, concrete patio area, stairs, brick landscape beds, seat walls, and all associated plumbing and electrical work. The project will entail construction of: additional sidewalks, heated concrete surfaces, new stair locations, new landscaping, new curbing/walls, along with in-slab radiant piping, manifolds, a new snow melt skid package, all associated piping and connections, pumps, equipment and associated electrical. Bidding documents are available at no cost, via the PennBid Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com). A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, 19 February 2025. Prospective bidders will meet in the center lobby of the Breuder Advanced Technology and Health Sciences Center, 206 College Avenue, Williamsport, PA. Bids will be accepted until 2:30 PM on Tuesday, 4 March 2025, via the PennBid Program. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved Surety Company, certified check, or cashier’s check in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the proposal. Bond or check shall be drawn in favor of Pennsylvania College of Technology. This project is a project constituting public works and is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, of August 15, 1961, P.L. as amended and supplemented. Bids must be in the hands of the undersigned at the stated date and time, when bids will be electronically opened. The College reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding, reject any or all bids, select a single item from any bid, or accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the College.
