DESCRIPTION: of Goods or Services to Be Bid: MTA C&D requires the services of a Contractor to provide all
labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform the Work of this Contract to include completing
structural, mechanical, electrical, and communication upgrades at 96th, 86th, 72nd, and 63rd Street Stations
(IND) in the Borough of Manhattan. This includes installing steel grab bars, ladders, hatch doors, guardrails,
safety railings, and waterproofing measures and completing mechanical and electrical work, including HVAC
upgrades, installing emergency exit lighting, providing power provisions, fire alarm modifications, and related
infrastructure improvements the removal and installation of sixteen (16) lowering devices and high mast
lighting fixtures ranging from 4-12 fixtures per light pole, along with all associated components for a complete
functioning light pole system, at Hillside Support Facility (Hillside Yard). To minimize disruption to the Yard
Facility operations the Work will need to be performed during weekends. See Volume 3, Division 1, Section
01 10 00 for the Summary of Work.
This is an A + B Bidding Contract.
