2024-2025 Rental Of Snow Removal Equipment With Operator

Project Description: Doylestown Township will be accepting sealed electronic bids for the 2024-2025 RENTAL OF SNOW REMOVAL EQUIPMENT WITH OPERATOR for the 2024-2025 season. Sealed bid will be received via the PennBid website https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024, publicly opened in PennBid and opened and displayed promptly thereafter.
All bid documents and solicitation details are available at no cost at PennBid website https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. Successful bidder(s) will be responsible for all PennBid fees.
SCOPE OF WORK Proposals are sought for the following types of equipment with all ancillary equipment for the effective and safe removal of snow and ice from township roads and rights-of-way by qualified vehicle operator, licensed by Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
2004 or newer six wheel dump truck, 27,000 – 35,000 GVW with 10' to 11' two-way plow with operator.
2004 or newer four wheel drive, six wheel dump truck, 19,000 – 26,000 GVW with 10' to 11' two-way plow with operator.
2004 or newer four wheel drive, six wheel dump truck, 9,000 – 11,000 GVW with 8' to 9' two-way plow with operator.
2004 or newer four wheel drive pickup, 7,500 – 9,000 GVW with 8' to 9' two-way plow with operator.
Perspective Bidder agrees to the following terms or to provide the following services and information with their bid submission.
Provide service (driver and equipment) in accordance with the submitted equipment listed on submitted PennBid website https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com Schedule of Equipment and Pricing Sheet. The required information to be provided on Schedule of Equipment Pricing Sheet shall be; number of vehicles, vehicle; year, make, model, serial #, weight class and license #. Schedule of equipment must be submitted on the PennBid website, submissions in any other form will not be accepted.
Provide skilled operator(s) (minimum of 18 years of age), with current valid Pennsylvania driver’s license (with appropriate endorsement(s)), trained in operation of the snow removal equipment listed under this contract. Facsimiles of each operator’s valid driver’s license (whether commercial or other) shall be provided with the understanding that, at the discretion of the Township, the validity of an operator’s license is subject to verification by Doylestown Township. All perspective vehicle operators are required to complete and submit ATTACHMENT G, SECTION 603(X) FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT, DISCLOSURE STATEMENT REGARDING, DRIVER LICENSE REPORTS. In the event an operator is replaced by another non-validated operator, the replacement operator’s license shall be subject to the same requirements stated above.
Provide a list of operator names and phone numbers for the purpose of being notified of service requests.
Provide fully serviced, operational equipment with operator, to effectively remove snow and ice from Township roads and rights-of-way during the length of contract awarded, in a good workmanlike fashion at the agreed hourly rate for length of time required by Doylestown Township per snow/ice storm occurrence equipment within two (2) hour verbal or electronic (text message or email) notification.
Provide vehicle registration information and proof of insurance for vehicle(s) listed under this contract.
Provide operators with equipment maintained and in good operational condition at owners and, or operators cost.
Provide invoices for services rendered within five days of said service. It shall also be understood that no retainage of invoice payments will be held to satisfy this condition of bid award.
