Title: SURVEY SERVICES - TOLLAND TURNPIKE IMPROVEMENTS
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 4/23/2025
Due Date: 5/14/2025
The Town of Manchester is seeking the services of a qualified Professional Land Surveyor, licensed in the State of Connecticut, to perform a topographic field survey and base map in AutoCAD format for the approximately 5,600' long section of Tolland Turnpike between Chapel Road and Buckland Street.
The Manchester Department of Public Works, Engineering Division will be using the basemap to design a roadway reconstruction project along the same section of Tolland Turnpike. Tolland Turnpike is a Town-owned and maintained four-lane, arterial roadway with two railroad crossings within the project area (no active train service). The project will connect recently completed roadway and site work at the intersection of Tolland Turnpike at Buckland Street and Adams Street, west, to its intersection at Chapel Road. The Town anticipates extending a connection between a Connecticut DOT multi-use trail along the I-291 right of way at Chapel Road to the Buckland multi-use path at the Buckland Street intersection.
