Request for Qualifications for Maintenance Activities at the Buzzard's Roost Hydroelectric Facility

Greenwood County (“Owner”) is requesting statements of qualifications from qualified contractors to perform specialized work related to maintaining a hydroelectric facility. The intent of this RFQ is to pre-qualify contractors with specific experience performing maintenance and repair activities of tainter gates and other civil related infrastructure at Hydroelectric facilities.

Greenwood County intends to select up to three (3) contractors that are qualified to handle such work at the Buzzard's Roost Hydro facility. Once Greenwood County qualifies three (3) contractors, we can solicit quotes from the selected contractors for future work at the Buzzard's Roost Facility. This list will be utilized for a period not to exceed five (5) years.

Greenwood County is looking to prequalify contractors with experience working on hydroelectric facilities. Experience working with dewatering devices such as stop logs and maintaining various elements of tainter gates is preferred.
