The Town of Manchester is requesting proposals from businesses, organizations and individuals interested in purchasing an historic Town building in the North End of Manchester. The Town seeks to select one proposal from a qualified individual, entity or team in keeping with the preferred goals, objectives and uses outlined in this document.

Manchester is a forward-thinking community of nearly 60,0000 residents and the commercial, entertainment and residential hub of the east-of-the-river Greater Hartford region. This Request for Proposals outlines important information regarding the site, the context for this project, the qualification documentation and other information to be submitted.

The property for sale is a 0.18 acre parcel located at the north end of Main St. that previously served as a fire station for the 8 ^th Utilities District. The site is zoned Industrial (IND); uses allowed in this zone encompass a wide range of industrial and commercial uses, however the property sits on a major State road, within a mixed-use area and close to residential neighborhoods.
