Description

NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

Description of the Requirement:

The Department of National Defence/Canadian Armed Forces and the Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) requires the procurement of one (1) Diesel Generator 800 kW, including installation, commissioning, and testing.

This generator will support field trials by supplying critical power for system components during testing at the Ottawa Research Centre.

Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement:

There will be no set-aside for Aboriginal businesses. This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

Requirement Details:

Requirements and Deliverables are detailed in Annex Statement of Requirement of the Request for Proposal (RFP).

The Mandatory Criteria are detailed in the RFP.

The basis of selection shall be the lowest evaluated price with Mandatory Technical Criteria.

The Crown retains the rights to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

There is currently no contract in place for this requirement.

DND reserves the right not to award a contract, regardless of the proposals received. Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail.
