Project Description: Helene - Heat Straightening Repairs to Bridge #100734 in Buncombe County
The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for heat straightening repairs to
Bridge #100734 over Ivy Creek on SR-2288 (Old Mars Hill Hwy) in Buncombe County to be let at 2:00
PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
The availability date for this project is June 29, 2026.
The completion date for this project is October 16, 2026.
Sealed bids must be received in the NC Department of Transportation Division Office at 55 Orange
Street, Asheville, NC 28801 by 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Bids must be submitted on the
official bid sheet included in the proposal and display the following statement on the front of the
envelope:
