Forsyth County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners (County) is soliciting Proposals from qualified firms to provide professional services for the update and development of the Forsyth County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The selected consultant will assist the County in updating the existing Hazard Mitigation Plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 and FEMA requirements under 44 CFR §201.6, ensuring continued eligibility for federal hazard mitigation assistance programs. The project will include coordination with participating jurisdictions, public outreach, hazard risk assessment, development of mitigation strategies, and preparation of FEMA-compliant plan for review, adoption, and final approval.

Closing Date/Time: Proposals must be submitted electronically through the County¿s Euna (Bonfire) Portal no later than Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (local time). Names of submitting firms will be read aloud at 2:30 p.m. the same day.

Deadline for Questions: All questions must be submitted through the Euna Portal under Opportunity Q&A no later than 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2026. Answers will be posted via written Addenda in the Portal.
