Scope of Services: Employment Support
Seeking a contract to support job readiness and maintenance for several NSS clients and
community interventions as a key initiative to support diversion from violence and support
sufficiency and family wellbeing. Contract to provide quarterly (2) hour trainings related to
job searching and career selection (including details on what’s in demand and career
planning), resume writing, interviewing, and getting and maintaining a job. Trainings must
be engaging and have tangible tips and next steps for participants as well as hands-on
activities that support overcoming challenges, mindsets, and other issues related to job
obtainment. Trainings must be offered during evenings and weekends as needed for client
group. Attendees for training will be determined in partnership with NSS staff. Contractor
should also provide 1 hour of consultation after each training to provide additional 1-1
support. Contractor will provide more intensive support and check ins for up to 3 referrals
as needed for those with more intensive employment-related challenges.
Contract term will be for 1-year, starting October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027.
The total contract amount shall not exceed $3,000.
