HVAC RTU N Replacement at Kenhill Center

The City of Bowie is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to replace an existing rooftop unit (RTU N) with a new Trane packaged rooftop unit of equivalent size and capacity. The scope of work includes demolition, installation, gas piping modifications, controls integration, final testing, and commissioning. The location of this work is 2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie, MD 20715.

The work shall be consistent with the Scope of Services contained in this Invitation for Bids (IFB).  By submission of a bid, the bidder represents that it is able to comply with all requirements contained in the IFB.

There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 2614 Kenhill Drive, Bowie.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this IFB are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5136_Hvac_Replacement_Rtu_N___Kenhill_Center , prior to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025.  Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued no later than Wednesday, August 13, 2025, to all those who have expressed interest in this IFB through the Bid Locker platform.

Bids shall be submitted electronically to the City through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/5136_Hvac_Replacement_Rtu_N___Kenhill_Center prior to https://bidlocker.us/details/5136_Hvac_Replacement_Rtu_N___Kenhill_Center until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025. Any interested party may register with Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup at no cost and access the solicitation documents.  Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via a virtual meeting.  A link to join the meeting will be emailed to all parties who have registered with Bid Locker regarding this IFB.  All blanks on each form provided by the City in connection with this IFB must be filled in, and no change shall be made to any part of the text of the form.

Prospective bidders that obtain this document from any source other than Bid Locker, should immediately register with Bid Locker to ensure receipt of addenda and other communications regarding this solicitation.
