RFQ Professional Services - Wastewater Treatment Facility Operation and Maintenance

The City of Springfield, Georgia is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to manage, operate, and maintain the City¿s Wastewater Treatment Facility. Services will include all aspects of facility operation, maintenance, laboratory testing, sampling, reporting, and regulatory compliance in accordance with the City¿s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and all applicable State and Federal requirements.

The selected firm will be expected to provide certified wastewater operators, maintain all required licenses and certifications, and ensure reliable and compliant performance of the City¿s 0.6 MGD extended aeration treatment facility. Coordination with City staff and consulting engineers will also be required during upcoming facility upgrades and expansion.

Questions or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing to Lauren Eargle, City Manager, via email at LEargle@springfieldga.org no later than October 31st,2025. Responses to all questions will be posted on the City¿s website no later than November 5th, 2025.

The City of Springfield reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive informalities, and accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the City.
