REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
2026 SOUTH BRANCH LIBRARY ‘REFRESH’ PROJECT

Summit County Government is seeking proposals from qualified general contractors to oversee and manage interior improvements planned for the South Branch Library located at 103 S Harris Street, Breckenridge, CO  80424.

The best proposal will be selected based on qualifications, relevant experience, schedule, and cost.

Submit questions regarding the proposals to daniel.gietzen@summitcountyco.gov. Deadline for questions is 5pm MST May 1, 2026.   A pre-proposal meeting for this project will be held and is described in the RFP documentation.

Said proposals will be accepted by Electronic Submission (preferred) to daniel.gietzen@summitcountyco.gov or by hardcopy proposals until 2:00 PM MST, May 13, 2026.  Proposals received after 2:00 PM MST, will not be accepted.

Proposals received by the deadline will be publicly opened and read aloud at the designated time and place, as described in the RFP documentation.  The contract will be awarded to the highest-ranked responsible proposal that provides the best value to Summit County, aligning with public interest.

The Summit County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities, and to conduct such investigations or negotiations as it deems necessary to select the most responsible and responsive proposal.
