Update: See below, questions that were submitted, and the Government's response thereto. The closing date of the solicitation is not extended.



Question 1: Can we provide 4 As Found readings and 10 As Left?



Response 1: No. The number of readings shall be same for “as found” and “as left” condition.

Question 2: How many samples are required for the Multi Channel pipettes?



Response 2: The question is not clear. Samples are not used for calibration. Water as a standard tested at three levels covering the pipette’s usable range (10%, 50%, 90%) for the calibration of a channel.

Question 2 part 2: How many readings need to be recorded for multi channel pipettes? Do they want 10 readings per channel at low, mid and high?



Response 2 part 2: 10 readings are required per channel at low, mid and high levels at both in “as found” and “as left” conditions.

Question 3: Are we allowed to use ISO8655 Tables 1 & 2 instead of the ones outlined in the solicitation? I have attached ISO8655 tables 1 & 2 for you.



Response 3: The calibration shall be done by the method provided.

Question 4: Can you confirm the start date in June and can we go into July to finish calibrations?



Response 4: Depending on contract award date, calibrations will be expected to begin in June; calibrations may go into July if necessary.

Question 5: When will the awarded company be notified?



Response 5: Upon receipt of award.

Question 6: Can the certificates of calibration be provided by noon the next day?



Response 6: Certificates shall be provided on the day of calibration; For pipettes calibrated close to the end of the day, certificates may be provided by noon on the following day.
