Project Description: Commonwealth University – Bloomsburg Campus of the PA State System of Higher
Education invites General Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work
included under this Project consists of all work as shown on the drawings and included in the contract documents to mill and repave Swisher Drive Road Paving and repair areas around storm catch basins as shown on the documents.
Work shall be accomplished by a Separate Prime Contractors according to Pennsylvania
statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor and shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction identified on the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of, and subject to approval of the Professional and the University.
A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on April 14, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Maintenance Building Parking Lot (Lower Campus) at Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, PA 17815.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EDT on May 12, 2026, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/.
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online.
Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted.
