Summary

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is committed to providing qualified sign language interpreters (SLIs) or other appropriate auxiliary aids and services when necessary to afford individuals with hearing disabilities an equal opportunity to participate in and benefit from public services, programs, and activities.

OOD is seeking to contract with one (1) single entity to provide coordination and sign language interpreting services for all twelve (12) days of the Ohio State Fair, July 23 - August 3, 2025.

Please submit a formal quote referencing contract and catalog numbers, if applicable.

Process

A) OOD shall base the award on lowest cost.

B) OOD will also base the award on the respondent that is responsive, responsible, and able to complete the work described in the summary.

C) A formal quote must be attached.

D) Respondent shall complete and submit the Certification Statements form if seeking a Buy America, Buy Ohio, and/or a Veterans Preference. If not seeking a preference, Respondent does not need to return the attached form.

Mailed, emailed, or faxed responses will NOT be accepted.

Optional Question and Answer Session
Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities will be hosting an OPTIONAL question and answer session to give Respondents an opportunity to discuss the requirements of the solicitation. The meeting will be held on April 1, 2025 at 12:30 PM via Microsoft TEAMS. Questions and answers will be posted in OhioBuys after the question and answer session for Respondents unable to attend. Please refer to the attached RFQ for further details.
