Design & Installation of City Hall Fire Alarm/Voice Announcement System

The City of Bowie is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide design, and installation of a new fire alarm/voice announcement system and associated notification devices at Bowie City Hall located at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Bowie, MD, 20716. Complete specifications and proposal documents may be obtained at no cost through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/4733_Design_Installation_Of_City_Hall_Pa_System . Registration to use Bid Locker is at https://bidlocker.us/Account/Signup and is free to all interested parties. Documents for this project will be available as of 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

Electronic (pdf) proposals will be received through Bid Locker at https://bidlocker.us/details/4733_Design_Installation_Of_City_Hall_Pa_System until 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any proposals.

Interested offerors are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal meeting to be held at Bowie City Hall, located at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Conference Room 181, at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Request for Proposals are required to be submitted through the Bid Locker platform at https://bidlocker.us/details/4733_Design_Installation_Of_City_Hall_Pa_System prior to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Written responses to all questions and/or requests for clarifications will be issued as an addendum to the solicitation no later than Monday, April 21, 2025, to all those who have registered with Bid Locker and downloaded the specifications and proposal documents.

The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
