The City of Fairway, Kansas is seeking sealed bids for the following:

W 59th Street (Roe Avenue to Mission Road)

Suwanee Road (Mission Road to Cul De Sac)

Tahoe Road (Suwanee Road to Cul De Sac)

Windsor Drive (Reinhardt Drive to Cherokee Drive)

Windsor Circle (Windsor Drive to Cul De Sac)

Shawnee Mission Parkway (Buena Vista Street to Mission Road)

Mohawk Lane (Shawnee Mission Parkway to Mill Limit)

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Fairway, 5240 Belinder Ave., Fairway, Kansas 66205 Attn: Director of Public Works, until 10:00 am, May 5th, 2026. Deliveries shall be made to the reception desk of City Hall. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at approximately 10:05 am in the Main Conference Room of City Hall.

Bids shall be on a unit-price basis for the Base Bid. The work generally includes:

• Cold milling and asphalt overlay of the roadways on 59th Street, Suwanee Road, Tahoe Road, Windsor Drive, Windsor Circle, Mohawk Lane, and Shawnee Mission Parkway spot repair of concrete curb and gutter on all streets, concrete driveways, and pavement base repair as required

• Stormwater improvements on W 59th Street, Mohawk Lane, and Shawnee Mission Parkway. Work items include the installation and maintenance of curb inlets, Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP), High-Density Polyethylene pipe (HDPE), and Cure-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP)

and other items as specified in the bidding documents and amendments thereto. See bidding documents for a complete project and bidding information.

In order for the proposal to be considered, the proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond for the project or by a certified check or cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid.
