Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (herein known as “BSA”), operator of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) under a Prime Contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking expressions of interest from firms regarding two (2) Electron and Hadron Endcap Structures for the Electron-Proton/Ion Collider (ePIC) detector to be built in the Electron-Ion Collider (EIC) interaction region IP-6 (Experimental Hall of the ePIC Detector) at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), managed by Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA). The Electron Structures, Endcap Structures, or Encaps as outlined in the following attachments:

This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the U.S. Government, nor will the U.S. Government pay for information received. The information from this notice will help the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Basic Energy Sciences (BES) survey available resources.
