Sealed bids will be received by the Owner, the City of Mountain View, Missouri, at the care of Alfred Benesch & Company, at 4551 W. 107th Street, Suite 250, Overland Park, KS 66207 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on April 7, 2026 and then publicly opened and read aloud, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment, and performing all work necessary for completing the REHABILITATE RUNWAY 10/28 (2026) Project.

In general, the improvements on which bids are requested will require the following major construction items:

• Site preparation/mobilization

• Installation of temporary airport safety measures to allow for construction operations

• Variable Depth Milling (0.25” – 2.0”)

• Crack repairs (asphalt)

• Full Depth Pavement Repair

• Corrugated Metal Pipe Removal

• Runway Edge Light Can Adjustments

• Asphalt Paving

• Shoulder Grading

• Seeding

• Erosion Control Measures

• Temporary and permanent pavement marking application

Parties then interested in submitting an official bid must contract Benesch at both of the above email addresses and request an official bid booklet. The electronic documents do not contain the official bid booklet. Contractors must obtain an official bid booklet from Benesch to submit a bid.

A non-mandatory, pre-bid meeting will be held both in person and virtually in conjunction with this project. The pre-bid conference for this project will be held on March 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time at the City of Mountain View Council Chambers located at 126 N. Oak Street, Mountain View, MO. 65548. Alternatively, to request access to the virtual video conference, send an email to Benesch Project Manager Elizabeth Duvall ( eduvall@benesch.com ) with the subject line “MNF Rehabilitate Runway 10/28 Pre-Bid Conference Request”. All bidders are still required to examine the site to become familiar with all site conditions.
