The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder by low lot total.  Low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit cost by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive.

Needed Service or Supply: Mosquito Lake State Park Yurt Decking

Ordering Location and Address: Mosquito Lake State Park 1439 ST Route 305, Cortland, Ohio 44410

Project Background Mosquito Lake State Park needs to update (2) Yurt patios at Mosquito Lake Campground.

A like for like replacement of the decking, railing, awning/cover, spindles, and lattice.   We’d like the decking to be a commercial grade composite.  We’d like to select the composite color/ shade of brown). Railing, lattice, awning/cover and spindles could be a different design using stock vinyl or aluminum items- please submit specifications for review and acceptance. Discussion of details can be covered at site visit. Measurements will need to be confirmed, etc. The current measurements listed are approximate. Photos of existing decking are below. 

The bid should be for the decking and patio awning area ONLY. The yurts will not be removed so the exterior decking needs cut away and that is the part to replace.

Specifications/Scope of Work:

Yurt dimensions approximately- 36 ½ ft X 23 ½ ft

Replace/redeck and update (2) Yurt patios with composite.

Shipping costs must be included in the cost of the item.

Commercial grade composite. The lattice, awning, cover, and parts of railing can be vinyl, aluminum.

Dismantle various parts of existing deck as needed, haul away all debris.

Deck includes ADA accessible walkway ramp and patio awning/deck cover.

Under structure or other parts of deck should be able to be reused, but site visit will confirm.

Contractor responsible to secure the area once construction commences through completion of work.

Delivery Mosquito Lake State Park 1439 ST Route 305, Cortland, Ohio 44410

Completion/Delivery Date: No later than December 31st, 2025. Work may commence starting November 1st, 2025 during daylight hours.

Once a contract is awarded, failure of the bidder to have requested a site visit to become familiar with the facility and requirements of the bid will be insufficient reason to support any request to be released from the contract.

4. Unique invoice number

5. Date of service or date work was completed.

6. Complete itemization of services performed, materials or goods supplied and/or labor furnished

7. Line charge(s). If parts are included, please break out lines with product and charges separately.

8. No State of Ohio sales tax

9. Remit to address must match our records for payment

10. This PO is only valid for the goods and/or services received through June 30, 2026.

11. Any goods/services received after June 30, 2026 will require a new PO.
