Justification and Approval for Johnson Controls equipment

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

SPECIAL NOTICE: The U.S. Army Corps of engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposal for the Replacement of CSO Roof and RTU at FTC, KY

As part of the construction solicitation, the USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements:

1. Johnson Controls Equipment – This J&A is being prepared for the use of brand name requirement for sole source components for the project to replace the rooftop units for the Defense of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) at Community Superintendent’s Office (CSO) in Fort Campbell, KY.

*This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal: however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USASCE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein.

All responsible sources may submit capability which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 08:00 AM ET on 15 August 2025 to Mr. Ranzel Merideth at Ranzel.L.Merideth@usace.army.mil
