Hatchery Complex Electrical Distribution-Stoneville, MS

This is a pre-solicitation notice.

The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center (JWDSRC) located in Stoneville, MS., has a requirement for refurbishing and upgrading the existing electrical distribution in the Hatchery area. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all work in strict accordance with the specifications for refurbishing and upgrading the existing electrical distribution in the Hatchery area. The project is located at the USDA-ARS-SEA, JWDSRC, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, MS. 38776. The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and detailed cost breakdown for the entire project.

USDA ARS SEA intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a firm fixed priced contract. The solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210 with a size standard of $19.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions.

This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute the Request for Proposal (RFP). The Government anticipates issuing an RFP for this requirement on or about January 14, 2025. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for these services.
