The Department of Veteran s Affairs will solicit for vendors capable to provide Semi-Annual Elevator Inspection and Five-Year Testing Services for the Salem VA Medical Center in Salem, VA. Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, materials (including required weights), equipment, parts, tools, and personnel to perform to perform semi-annual inspections and five-year testing for all elevators, dumbwaiters, and vertical transport equipment as defined in the Statement of Work, SOW. Service must be done in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines and in pursuant to ANSI/ASME/NASEA. A request for quote, RFQ, will be issued on or around Thursday, March 27, 2025. Period of Performance is for one base year plus four, 4, option years.

To be eligible for award, the prospective contractor must be registered in SAM database at http://www.sam.gov and comply with the Basis of Evaluation for Award. If you are an SDVOSB, VOSB or Small Business and plan on subcontracting, please provide a plan to show how your company will provide 51% of the work being performed.
