USS SOMERSET (LPD-25); LLTM- DIRECT REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR SIDE PORT DOOR, BRIDGE CRANE

Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) Code 410B Procurement intends to award a Sole Source contract to Jered LLC to provide the direct replacement parts for the USS SOMERSET (LPD-25) side port door and the well deck bridge crane. This is in direct support of the upcoming FY25 Dry Docking Selected Restricted Availability (DSRA). The requirement will be processed in accordance with FAR part 15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is NAICS 332510, Hardware Manufacturing, and the business size standard is 750 employees. Jered LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The required parts must be replaced with the same material previously used and must have the same function capability as these parts are attached to the component. In addition, the replacement part must be compatible in all aspects to form, fit, and function with existing equipment. Jered LLC has no authorized distributors and is the only known source available to acquire the required part. This notice is neither a request nor a solicitation of offers; however, all information received within 15 days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be reviewed by the Government for future considerations. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. Responses must provide clean and concise documentation indicating vendors bona fide capability to provide this product or equivalency. Responses must include company name, address, telephone number of the requester, e-mail address, CAGE code and business size.
