Project Description: The Austin Independent School District (hereinafter referred to as “AISD” or the “District”) is seeking proposals from firms qualified and experienced in providing comprehensive academic support program services to youth and families. Support services will include programs that encourage students to stay in school, improve academic achievement, prepare and pursue higher education, develop healthy relationships and increase social-emotional learning opportunities. Approved service providers will provide training, support and advocacy to
families and students during school time of a typical school day. (Minimal time on weekends and during the summer months). Vendors should be able to provide a wide variety of program activities that focus on recent immigrants, student at risk of dropping out, economically
disadvantaged families, English Language learners, Limited English Proficiency, and students and families who have been traditionally been underrepresented.
