91100-CONSTRUCTION AND UTILITIES, HIGHER EDUCATION;
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (“Owner”) is soliciting statements of qualifications (“Qualifications”) for selection of one or more Contractors to provide Job Order Contracting services for minor construction, maintenance, renovation and/or repair of its facilities (“JOC Program ”) in the greater Houston, Texas area and in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”).
This RFQ is the first step in what may be up to a three-step process for selecting one or more Contractors for this JOC Program and provides the information necessary to prepare and submit Qualifications for consideration and initial ranking by Owner. Based on the initial ranking, Owner may invite select top-ranked Respondents to participate in the second step of the process, Request for Proposals.
In the second step of the process, Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the top-ranked Respondents as identified in Section 1.1.1 will be required to submit additional information to Owner, including fee proposals (“Proposals”). Owner will rank the Proposals in the order that they provide the apparent “best value” for Owner based on the published selection criteria and on the ranking evaluations.
In the third step of the process, Interviews, the top-ranked Respondents may be required to attend an interview with Owner to confirm its Proposal and answer additional questions. Owner will then rank the remaining top-ranked, Respondents in order to determine the “best value” offer(s).
