IFB #1645-02 Heating & Domestic Hot Water Systems Decentralization ? Phase 2 (Electrical Upgrades) at Franklin Field Development

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) invites sealed bids for Heating & Domestic Hot Water Systems Decentralization – Phase 2 (Electrical Upgrades) at Franklin Field Development, BHA Job # 1645-02, prepared by BLW Engineers, Inc. The total construction cost is estimated at $5,277,727. Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111. If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 56 Chauncy Street or signage there due to construction.
Bids not received by the following times will be rejected:

Filed sub-bid applies to Painting estimated $342,700.

The general bid must be DCAMM certified in Electrical, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bids are subject to MGL c. 149, Sections 44A-J.
Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor. All general and filed sub-bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.

The BHA reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, if it be in the public interest to do so.
