SOURCES SOUGHT: This is NOT a Request for Quote. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.



Seymour Johnson Air Force Base anticipates a requirement that is being considered under the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 334220 RADIO AND TELEVISION COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT, EXCEPT AIRBORNE.



This requirement is to: Install a new Ultra High Frequency (UHF) radio system, including four CM350 UDX radios, two Jotron Desktop Consoles, and IP cabling. The government will provide the necessary infrastructure. Tune and program the system to the required frequencies for full operational capability.



Contractor will assist in removal of outdated equipment for GOV disposal, and bear responsibility for disposal of all excess equipment/material accumulated throughout the installation of the radio system. Upon project’s completion, technicians will provide instructions and materials with which to train all 4 FW/COMMAND POST personnel on use and care of the new UHF radio equipment.



A DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) is included in the Attachments for reference, please review for required capabilities/salient characteristics and contractor responsibilities.



All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort.
