On or about February 11, 2025, the contracting department at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard will be posting a solicitation with the purpose of renting/leasing a submersible fire pump. The pump will need to provide 10,000 gallons per minute verticle lift minimum, be NFPA approved, have an 8 hour run time and must be able to be trailer mounted. The formal Request for Quote Number will be N4215825QE024. The procurement will be for one year with two years and six months being option years.
