ADVERTISEMENT & NOTICE TO BIDDERS FOR
RUNWAY 1/19 REHABILITATION
AT THE WAYCROSS-WARE COUNTY AIRPORT, WAYCROSS, GEORGIA
Sealed bids for the Runway 1/19 Rehabilitation project will be received by the Ware County Board of
Commissioners, Waycross Georgia at the Office of County Commissioners, 305 Oak Street, Suite 227,
Waycross, Georgia 31501 until Thursday, March 5, 2026 2:00 P.M. local time. A Pre-Bid Conference
will be held at 10:00 A.M.Thursday, February 12, 2026 in the Waycross-Ware County Airport Terminal.
Site visit will follow the pre-bid meeting.
PROJECT DESCIRPTION
The project consists of the rehabilitation of the existing asphalt runway pavement and existing taxiway
connector pavement. The existing paved runway shoulders shall be rehabilitated via pavement rejuvenation;
this work shall be included as an additive alternate in the bid.
A complete set of Bid Documents, consisting of this Notice To Bidders, the General Provisions, Special
Provisions, Technical Specifications, Bid Forms, Agreement Forms and Contract Drawings, will be
available on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 and may be obtained from Passero Associates at
www.passero.com under the ‘BID’ tab.
Each BID shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, marked and addressed as required below; and shall be
accompanied by the Bid Security and other required documents. If the BID is sent through the mail or other
delivery system, the sealed envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope with the notation "BID
ENCLOSED for (Project Name)" on the face thereof. Submit one (1) original and one (1) electronic copy
on a USB Flash Drive of the Bid Form, Schedules, and other required documents. Indicate the following
information on the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid: Project Name as stated on page one
of the Bid Forms, Project Number, Location of Airport, Bidder's Name and Address.
The Ware County Board of Commissioners, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all
bidders that it will comply with all applicable federal statutes, regulations, executive orders, and
assurances governing nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs, including but not limited to 49
U.S.C. § 47123. The Contractor further agrees to take affirmative action to ensure that no person shall, on
the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or any other protected class, be excluded
from participation in, denied the benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination under this
Agreement.

be received no later than Thursday, February 19, 2026. An addendum responding to questions received
will be issued by the close of the business day Thursday, February 26, 2026.
The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
Bids will be required to remain open for acceptance or rejection for 90 calendar days after the date of opening
of bids.
